SuperBowl Voodoo
On February 4, 2013 by LoriThe Day After
Oh what a night! As many of us crawled out of bed this morning, it was hard to believe what went down yesterday. I was hoping for a good game and boy we got it…minus the poor calling, the 30 minute blackout, and the questionable commercials. How odd was that make out seen? Thankfully all the kids just said “Ewww” but seriously marketing teams, be aware of your audience. And if you are going to say “that” hit your target market, then we need to do some major cleaning up in our society. Ok – enough on my soapbox.
What did I love? Tim Tebows pre-game prayer service, the Dodge Farmer Commercial, San Franciscos comeback, and the Ravens player making snow angels in the confetti post game.
Associated Press/Charlie Riedel – Baltimore Ravens defensive back Chykie Brown (23) celebrates after the NFL Super Bowl XLVII football game against the San Francisco 49ers, Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, in New Orleans
What did I love even more? Excited kids running their own 106 yard returns around the house, dear friends who were game for all my silly charts, pools and shout outs and of course the delicious guest that flew in from Texas….Salt Lick BBQ. It warmed everyone’s heart after a lil help from a Texan and the hubbys new smoker.
Many of you have reached out to me to see if I could help out with the results from the SuperBowl Props Sheet I posted on Facebook and past SuperBowl prep article for your party. It’s a bit messy, but here it is for your winners bragging rights.
Our winner was a mom of 3 who came in at 14! And yes, she now owns a miniature version of the Lombardi Trophy.
Everyone else walked out happy campers with their Superbowl rings.
