Friends #1 – United

Carondelet High School served those seeking to become all of which woman is capable through a curriculum that integrates intellectual, moral, physical, psychological, social, and spiritual development…they did that and so much more for me. A bond was developed within the school of a group of girls who would go on to enrich each others lives to this day. I am truly blessed to have had an amazing high school experience, which lead me to many wonderful things in my life and a group of friends that are undeniably forever there for one another.
A tradition we started back as Freshman has now been going strong for over 20 years. Each of us gather together over Springtime and enjoy a weekend together in the Carmel Valley. We connect as women do when given the time, place and peace. I recommend these types of gatherings as they are a good reminder of who you are, where you come from and how you have grown.
Studies show that when people band together—whether it’s for support or coming together for the greater good —life just seems to get better.
I am forever grateful.
“The Congregation of the great love of God and neighbor is expressed through devotion to St. Joseph, practicing unity and reconciliation, being all of which woman is capable in serving the dear neighbor without distinction.”
Jean Pierre Medaille, S.J.,
Founder of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet
