Memorial Endowments

Our Best Family Traditions Family has created two endowments to further a child’s education.  Please review the endowments and join in our effort to brighten a child’s future.

Unknown-2 De La Salle Catholic High School

This endowment is open for students that reside in the East Bay of Northern California that attend DLS. Each year a student 9th-11th grade who exemplifies leadership and encourages laughter receive the “Brother James B. Zachary Ward Humanitarian Award” a FSC Endowment for Financial Aid.  Brother Zachary’s endowment has been grandfathered in to an assisted principal that is never invaded and the annual earnings are awarded in scholarship form using Brother Zachary’s scholarship guidelines. As a teacher at DLS and devoted Christian Brother, my Uncle Jim encouraged laughter and brotherhood.  “Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve.” My Godfather Jim would have been honored to have you join him and the brothers in making a difference in a young man’s life. Please join us and make a donation.  Contact Director of Advancement Karla Wiese at (925) 288.8195 or wiesek@dlshs.org to get involved.
