Anaheim Ducks G.O.A.L. Hockey Program

This week, my 3 oldest kids will hit the ice rink with the Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Program.   A few months ago I registered my crew for an amazing opportunity that Reebok offers first-time hockey players ages 4-12.  We recently learned the kids made the cut and will hit the rink in full hockey attire.

All that is required of me is to show up 45 minutes before practice for kids to get sized up for equipment.  Participants will then be provided equipment for the month long class and must return the equipment at the end of the final class, so they ask for a refundable security deposit check for the equipment.  That’s it!

Kids will receive instruction on the basics of hockey as well as learn how to skate properly.  Participants will be provided with an equipment bag, helmet, shin guards, hockey pants, elbow pads, shoulder pads, gloves and a jersey to use for the four week session in order to be fully protected on the rink.

The use of full hockey equipment not only gives participants the feel of what it’s like to be a hockey player, but also enables them to get use to skating, wearing all of the hockey gear. My kids are counting down the days with excitement.

The Irvine Inline and Westminster ICE program is full, but you can get on the waiting list.  The Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Program is also offered at Yorba Linda ICE, Corona Inline and Huntington Beach Inline.
