Love #17 Lordy Lordy…

On Fire!

It was a simple birthday cake request…yellow cake with chocolate frosting like he has had every year since a child…but of course I had to throw it over the top for this “Over the Top” fellow!  I had so much fun lighting up this Betty Crocker for him.

I could not get a clear pic as the fire was heating up my vision.  My daughter is blinded by it’s beauty and the other kids are all under the table giggling.  Even Grammy in the corner is smiling as she backs up as to not get engulfed in flames.  The humour in all of this was that it was appropriate to laugh on my husbands birthday- it’s what he enjoys most and the gift of laughter is what he provides as a gift to everyone in his life.

Cheers to you..our Goofy, we hope you belly laugh yourself to tears on your special day!

And for all you celebrating Golden Birthdays today- Lucky You!  A person’s Golden Birthday, also referred to as their “Lucky Birthday”, “Champagne Birthday” or “Star Birthday”, occurs when they turn the age of their birth day (i.e, when someone born on the 10th of the month turns 10).  This is fun to celebrate no matter what age you are from 1-31.  If your birthday age is greater then 31 or you missed this golden opportunity…all the more reason to celebrate it this year!  Happy 2012!
