God Bless Us All

Veterans Day is an annual holiday in America honoring the 24.9 million military veterans in the United States.  Flags will fly throughout the weekend in their honor.

When our first born turned one,  we wanted to do something special to thank the Marine Corps for their service.  The “Toys for Tots” program was introduced.  The primary goal for our birthday celebration was to have our guests bring a toy (in lieu of a gift for Grace) to be later donated to Toys for Tots.  Bringing a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters.

The day was memorable, the night was beautiful. We said our goodbyes and finished our last cups of cocoa.   We headed back to our car and I noticed something attached to the cars left view mirror, but could not make it out.

As we got closer, Sgt Navarros way of saying “thank you”… left for Grace

    GOD BLESS AMERICA and THANK YOU LORI for making a difference in our busy day to take time to honor the military servicemen who are protecting our country, A great way to start my day…taking time to reflect on Family fun and traditons.
